I was waiting for the lightening to stop before turning on the computer, when I looked into the sky and spotted not just one, but two brightly colored rainbows arching from Lake Albert to Lake Poinsett.

Update on Lake Poinsett Water Project District meeting that was postponed until October...The change in the meeting date was due to an "emergency health issue to one of the primary witnesses," as reported by the Hamlin County Republican. The next date that the state water board meets is Thursday, October 8th at 8am. in Pierre. The meeting is about amending the Flood Control Permit.
