They say February is the "bluest month" for those of us (and who doesn't) that require a little sunshine in our lives. Not because the days aren't a little longer than last month and not because the sun when it does shine, isn't quite a bit warmer. Common sense tells us to get over it, better days just ahead. But some days, especially cold ones like today or especially gloomy, overcast ones like Monday do seem to put us down...
Advice givers have put out there that making a TO DO LIST, sticking to it, and crossing things off when they are accomplished is a good way to combat the drone of winter, the worries of a shaky economy, or the fear of flooding. I whole-heatedly agree as I have crossed many trivial tasks off of my LIST this winter. BUT as with everything, MODERATION is the KEY. To beat the ill effects of CABIN FEVER, we must get out and participate in life! To gather with our neighbors, as one and merrily consume food and drink while the music and buzz of conversation fills the air!
