Here’s how it works. Know somebody whose birthday is sometime in January? Tell them we’ll take $1 off their breakfast, lunch, or dinner all month long during their “Birthday Month”. Eat with them, and for you joining them, it’s another $1 off the price of their meal. 

You buying? You get the $1 off for the birthday month person and another $1 off for you and each person in your party.

What do you have to do? Mention the “Birthday Month Promo” and have the birthday month person ready to produce their ID at checkout. It’s just that easy!

Winter Games Rx for Cabin Fever

As we all go back to our daily grinds after a delightful Winter Games Weekend, just wanted to reflect. For those of us that suffer from cabin fever, it felt like a ten minute break to bask in the light, amidst what seems a very long season of darkness.

You rugged snowmobile fans, inspire the rest of us who whine and complain as the winter winds blow in more snow.  Instead you cheer, MORE SNOW!

We on the other hand, surrender to the weatherman and misguided environmentalists who tell us to stay inside, stay home, stay safe.

You are the rare breed. You cloak yourselves in an armor of winter outdoor dress, which makes you unrecognizable as individuals. You go bravely, challenging Mother Nature, “Bring it on!”

As a group, you band together to make things happen. You unite to fight the good fight; to preserve the right for not only you but for the children and grandchildren, to continue the tradition of being outdoor sport enthusiasts.

Poinsett Pounders’ Snowmobile Club, we seriously applaud your efforts and appreciate the winter memories you provide for all of in the Poinsett Area Lakes Region, year after year.

During Poinsett Pounders' Winter Games Weekend, LAKEVIEW Happy Hour in bar begins at noon--$1 off drinks, beer & appetizers until 6pm.

*Tickets for Friday's Fishing Tournament are available at Weiland Marine on Hwy. 81, beginning at 8am 605-983-5090. LAKEVIEW has fresh. live bait & a good selection of tackle. Shop the C-Store for hot & cold drinks and snacks.

*Friday night, LAKEVIEW is hosting an 8-ball tournament, start time 7:30 with pre-registration at 7pm. $10 entry w/ 100% payout.

Saturday night, the fireworks display by Ron's Flaming Torch Fireworks, will be just offshore from LAKEVIEW at dark.

The annual Poinsett Pounders Ice fishing Tournament is this Friday, on Lake Poinsett from 10 am. to 3pm.

 Tickets for the Tournament are available at Weiland Marine on Hwy. 81, 605-983-5090.
